Application Support Analyst : Old Port

Responsibilities:
• Handle all aspects of support calls received by phone, email and web
• Become an expert on assigned products and become a support champion to other employees
• Perform (and potentially design) quality assurance tests
• Be able to directly communicate with the development team
• Be on the rotation schedule for infrequent after-hours support
• Occasional travel, including performing consulting at customer sites
Qualifications:
• 3-6 years of relevant experience;
• Strong SQL Skills
• SQL Server 2005 and 2008
• .NET, Java and J2EE development environment
• Microsoft Windows Server and Workstation including XP, Vista, 7, 2003 and 2008 server
• Strong knowledge in Web application (OHO, javascript, Ajax) and WEB servers such as IIS and Tomcat
• Degree in computer science or Equivalent
• Can work independently and in a team and be a fast learner
• Ability to troubleshoot on big network environment
• Strong communication skills with customers and peers both written and spoken and preferably in both English and French
Assets:
• Java /J2EE, ASP, HTML, XML, XSL and other Web development technologies
• Financial and AP application
• Other databases like ORACLE or Informix
• UNIX and/or Linux
