Hiring a Front-End Developer : Montreal, QC

THE OPPORTUNITY

Wall Street Survivor is a site that is large and complex. It isn`t a simple social media site. We`re looking for detail-oriented developers with high initiative to join the Wall Street Survivor team

THE POSITION

The Front End Developer will be responsible for solving simple and complex development obstacles in a maintainable, extensible, customizable, cross-browser and timely manner.

THE TECH

We develop using CSS3, HTML5 and jQuery. Our trading platform is based in .NET but

QUALIFICATIONS

Expert Javascript/HTML/CSS/Ajax coding skills

Good understanding of PHP, JSON and how they pertain to integration.

Good understanding how to integrate from ASP.NET

Experience integrating APIs

Meticulous approach to testing and QA

Strong command of web standards, CSS-based design, cross-browser compatibility

Good understanding of web technologies (HTTP, Apache) and familiarity with Unix/Linux

Knowledgeable foundation in interaction design principles

Great written communication and documentation abilities

Experience integrating APIs
