IT Support /System Administrator in Visuel Effects studio : Montreal

SOLID mtl is looking for a junior/intermediate IT Support /System Administrator in their Montreal office. The candidate will have to support visual effect artists in a production environment, taking direction for our head office in Detroit, MI.

Required:
Must be bilingual; French & English
3 to 5 years experience managing a Microsoft Windows environment including Windows 7, Server 2003/2008
2 years managing Active Directory users and computers
Ability to troubleshoot Microsoft Office suite products
Ability to do basic network troubleshooting

Preferred:
Experience working with a VMWare virtualized environment
Experience in graphic design related software
Experience managing a render farm

Duties:
Provide IT support for personnel -- including installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance
Basic management of local domain users
Troubleshoot failing render farm jobs and fix them when possible
Document pipeline problems, fixes, workarounds, processes, as needed
Communicate and work well with artists, producers, IT personnel, management, and clients
