At Presagia, we develop software in an agile environment. We work in small teams using the Extreme Programming approach to our work. The work is challenging and the environment is dynamic, yet we believe in working at a sustainable pace.

As part of the Client services team, this person will be responsible for managing the successful migration of clients from competitor systems, in addition to implementing new clients. You will take full responsibility for testing and supporting deployments and installations as well as assisting with client configuration and training. You will also undertake process development and improvements to support these implementations on an ongoing basis. The working environment will require familiarity with Linux and Windows platforms as well as Java application development.

Suitable candidates should have a background in Application Support, Software Integration, and implementation of web based applications. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, as well as good time management and organizational skills are necessary. The candidate must be a client-focused self-starter who is able to work with minimal supervision and direction, independently and in small teams.


Technology Requirements:

• Experience/Familiarity with Java development and coding
• Knowledge of and experience working with Groovy, XML, HTML(especially in parsing, scripting and data manipulation)
• Understanding of FO and Java integrations
• Strong background in both Linux and windows platforms and environments
• Background/Familiarity with data mapping techniques and data manipulation

• Familiarity with Project management principles and tools
• Capable of managing and providing reasonable estimates of effort.
• Ability to work independently, quickly and accurately while under pressure
• Ability to clearly document technical specifications and procedures
• Willing to carry a pager/cell phone or work flexible hours in support of implementations and extended or after hours support
- Minimum 1-2 years experience
- Some experience with web-based J2EE applications
- Ability to organize structured approaches to complex problems
- Some experience at developing and maintaining automated test scripts (Fitness)
- Exposure to agile software development methodologies
