Looking for crew for visually innovative film project : Montreal

Be part of a creative visually innovative film project; our short film focuses a blend of live action with 3D animation techniques to create a new visual world. We`re looking for artists of all types from graphic designers to onset people. Stylistically, the film is very formally designed and references looks from films such as Brazil, Sin City, and Pan`s Labyrinth.

1) Art Director: Art director must work closely in establishing the look of key scenes by developing style frames and working closely with the costume designer and dop.

2) Costume Designer: A good sense of color and form must be skilled at developing an overall coherent visual style that lends itself to a fantasy feeling.

3) Makeup: Makeup artist with experience with visual Fxs and prosthetics.

4) Sound: Sound crew for capturing onset sound. Preferable if they have their own equipment.

5) Editing: Looking for an editor experienced with a keen sense of storytelling and developing fiction based narrative.

6) **Graphic Artist/2D Designers**: Visual artists to work on cleaning film plates and developing graphical looks. Experience with Photoshop and after effects. We need a few people for this!

7) Storyboard Artist: Working from the script to develop interesting camera angles and shot composition.

8) Lighting: Working closely with DOP in establishing a strong visual style.

9) PA: Looking for people to help onset with general duties. Good intern type experience.

10) Cameraman: Strong visual stylish required who can think quickly in improve type scenarios. Experience with dslr.

11) Sound Designer: Looking for an experienced sound designer to create the overall audio experience of the film. References include films such Sin City and District 9.

12) Producer: Searching for a producer experience with highly technical productions using animation and visual FXs.

13) Cinematographer: Someone who is responsible for achieving artistic and technical decisions related to the image of the film.

14) Transportation: A specialized rental service for the film market. Truck or small van.

15) Script Supervisor: Maintaining the film`s internal continuity.
