Production Supervisor : South shore & Lachine

Our client is an international leading food manufacturing is looking for two Production Supervisor for the overnight shift. This position will entail reporting directly to the Production Manager.
The candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operational activities of a production shift, focusing on productivity, performance, costs and efficiencies. The candidate will support the needs of the operations by, assuring the right focus to maximize productivity performance, assuring compliance with quality, regulations and procedures at all times. Responsible for a group of over 25 unionized employees, including their performance and continuous development.

The ideal candidate must possess a DEC in administration or related field along with 3 to 7 years of relevant work experience. Very good knowledge of GMP`S and HACCP guidelines. Excellent team work skills. Proven ability to effectively coach, mentor and develop others. Results oriented and a strategic leader with good planning and organizational skills. Proficient with MS office especially in Excel. Experience in a unionized environment is considered an asset. Excellent communication skills and bilingualism (French, English) oral and written are considered essential for this position.
