SAP SD Functional Analyst : Perm : Montreal

Our customer is an International Distributor of electronics located in the West Island. With an extensive range of highly featured innovative products that are made to the highest quality of international standards and represent great value for businesses of any size, large or small.
They are recruiting for an SAP SD/CRM Functional Analyst who will be responsible for supporting SAP R/3 and CRM systems with a good knowledge and experience in the R/3 Sales and Distribution modules as well as the key integration points to other modules and applications.

Responsibilities:
- Trouble shoot and draft documentation to allow development team to resolve SAP R/3 and CRM issues.
- Create functional and technical documentation for SAP applications and external systems to SAP.
- Plan and Manage SAP issues/ticket resolution with SAP Support team.
- Manage and control all SAP security role development and assignment ensuring SOX compliancy and segregation of roles.
- Lead process design sessions with the business to implement new functionalities, leveraging SAP standard whenever possible.
- Manage, document, and get approval for SAP transport release, ensuring best practice Change Management compliant with SOX regulations.
- Play a key role in SAP upgrade projects in terms of design, configuration, documentation, testing, and coordination of end user acceptance testing.
- Manage SAP process improvement projects.
- Create Manuals and deliver training in SAP to end users.

Requirements:
- 1-2 full lifecycle SD SAP implementations
- Experience in creating functional and technical specifications for SAP applications and external interfaces with SAP
- Experience working in other modules such as MM, WM and customizing integration with FI, CO-PA
- Basic knowledge of SAP security profiles (how to complete a trace, basic transactions to check profile in SAP)
- Experience in SD module including a solid understanding of integration with MM, FI, WM
- Strong documentation skills with a solid understanding of SAP project methodology required
- 4-5 years of related SAP experience
- Basic knowledge of SAP Security management and SOX regulations pertaining to security
- Functional configuration experience with SD - Order to Cash : Customer and Material Master Data, Order Types, Deliveries, Billing, Pricing, Taxation, Revenue Recognition, MM-FI Integration, ABAP debugging Skills
- Ability to design and implement new processes based on SAP and industry best practice
- Excellent research and trouble shooting skills
- Able and willing to learn new technologies
- Team player
- Able to work autonomously in a fast paced environment
- Some Project Management experience desirable
- SAP CRM exposure is desirable
- Basic BW experience is desirable
- Eager to work not only on new and existing projects but will have the experience and desire to improve and work on operational issues.
