The successful candidate will be confident and authoritative in providing pre-sales engineering support related to the following products and services:
HSIA (High-Speed Internet Access)
Access gateways/servers
Wi-Fi, wireless & wired networking solutions
IP management & monitoring solutions
Network designs
IPTV & VOD solutions
IP Access (ISP circuits), custom cabling & telephony services
In-room entertainment platforms & systems

Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor of Computer Science or equivalent industry experience
Strong technical background, preferably in wired and wireless Internet technologies
Pre-Sales SE/TC experience supporting infrastructure & technology based products & services
Solid knowledge of WAN & LAN based technical solutions
Understanding of wireless access points, controllers & WLAN Security
Background in TCP/IP, routing protocols, switching, security, telecommunications & managed services
Experience with 802.11a/b/g/i standards and knowledge of 802.11n
Comfortable interpreting RF transmissions & antenna behaviour
Positive team player focused on performance, development and company success
Comfortable performing within a dynamic and accelerated work environment
Analytical, technical and detail oriented personality
Experience supporting quota carrying sales teams and assisting in shortening sales cycles
Experienced at pre-selling high-end solutions in a competitive marketplace
Ability to travel occasionally within North America
Certifications desired: CCNA, CWNA
Strong organizational and time management skills
Excellent technical, communications & presentation skills
An aptitude for problem solving and troubleshooting in diverse and challenging technical environments

Responsibilities:
Work with Director of Sales to provide pre-sales support and drive incremental sales while following scoping guidelines
Accurately interpret property site surveys, heat maps and other relevant material
Build accurate bill of materials, statements of work & solution designs
Assist in the technical response to RFIs/RFPs
Project manage and support completed sales to ensure solutions sold are effectively deployed
Train and educate potential and current end users on relevant product subject matter
Effectively produce quotations/proposals and technical presentations for various clients
Accurately manage all necessary documentation to assist Deployment team.
Upon contract execution, facilitate pre-sales to post-sales transition of projects
Develop post-install survey reports
Attend relevant industry conventions and trade shows as required
