Summer Camp Counselor (St.Hippoltye Quebec)

Job title: Senior Summer Camp Counselor or Life Guard

Looking for:
- Currently looking for counselors who are active, have high energy, and who enjoys working with kids. Animation skills are great to have!
- Also looking for certified lifeguards who enjoy being outdoors in the sun all day!!
- Salary to be discussed depending on position, qualifications.

Summer dates:
June 20th - August 21st


Arrangement: Contractual ~ 9 weeks

Responsibilities:
- Overall supervision, animation, organization and evaluation of activities for a group of children.
- The children`s safety during every activity and outing (beach, overnights, etc). This means knowing where each and every one of the children in your group are at all times.
- Follow the assigned schedule so that all campers get equal opportunities in experiencing a variety of camp activities.
- Have fun !!!!


General Information:

- Our mission is to provide our campers with a happy, healthy, safe vacation with fresh air, good food, fun activities and most of all care in a worry free learning environment.
Camp Weredale has been providing children and youth with an outstanding summer camping program since 1934.
- Daily activities range from water front; swimming, canoeing, kayaking, snorkeling, tubing, sailing. Nature, archery and Sequoia program. Sports; hockey, basketball, and football teams practice for games against local camps. Arts program; Arts & Crafts, drama, and dance. Literacy program and much more.
-Special activities include theme days such as Olympics, regatta, carnival, Halloween and more.
- Overnight in the woods and sleeping in canoes.
-Two staff are responsible for a cabin of eight campers. Rotating nights sleeping with the campers in their cabin and staff sleeping in their own rooms in our staff huts.
-No room and board charged to staff, and laundry facilities and supplies included available to staff.
